Roanoke Police are investigating an assault at a downtown parking garage. Police say a woman was walking to her car at the Gainsboro garage Thursday afternoon when a man grabbed her in the groin area before running off. No one was hurt, and so far, there are no arrests. The Roanoke Police Department is investigating an assualt that occurred on May 19, 2011.  Officers responded at 4:57 p.m. to the Gainsboro Parking Garage located on Shenandoah Avenue.  An adult female stated that she was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by a male who grabbed her in her groin area and fled.  The victim was not hurt.  No arrests have been made.  The suspect is described as a white male, between approximately 25 and 29 years of age.  He has blond hair, is approximatey six feet three inches in height, and weighs approximately 165 pounds.  Anyone with information should contact the Roanoke Police Department at (540) 853-5959 or Crime Line at (540) 344-8500.
