Here is the official campus alert:
Oct. 24, 2011—5:30 a.m.
Lockdown is lifted.
Thanks to efforts coordinated by the Buena Vista Police Department, every building on campus has been checked visually and with K-9 bomb squad dogs.
As a result of the investigation into this bomb threat, we believe that campus is secure. If the ongoing investigation were to reveal any new concerns, we would evacuate buildings as needed.
Monday will be a normal day for work and class schedules.
Until the investigation is completed, we ask all students, faculty and staff to report anything suspicious to 911.
