This is a big weekend for tennis in Roanoke — the first of its kind — and a big one as well for the local tourism economy. Local tennis advocates have worked with the City of Roanoke and regional tourism officials to bring it here, starting with major improvements to the courts at River’s Edge Sports Complex.
