Here’s the press release from Roanoke Fire-EMS: On Friday, August 12th, 2016 at 12:45am, Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a fire in the 1300 block of Patterson Ave. When crews arrived they found heavy fire and immediately began to knock down the flames. The fire was ruled under control at 3am. No one was home when the fire started and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the damage estimates are approximately $59,700.
