The first post-primary statewide poll shows Democrat Ralph Northam holding an 8% lead over Republican Ed Gillespie in race for governor, 47-39%. But the Quinnipiac University Poll finds wide disparities by gender, with Northam showing a 21% among women and Gillespie leading among men by 8%.
