A new scam alert from the Better Business Bureau, this one involving the use of the BBB’s name — and Publisher’s Clearing House. This one may also involve some expensive telephone calls for anyone following the caller’s instructions. The story from WFIR’s Bob Clark.

The bureau says the call is scam, and you will be asked to send money.
Consumers should be aware the area code is in Jamaica where many of the scams originate — and calling that 876 number will result in in expensive international phone rates.
