(AP) _ The University of Virginia says a case of mumps has been confirmed on the campus and it’s awaiting test results of four suspected cases.  Media outlets report the university notified students about the virus in email Friday night. The university says there’s no confirmation that mumps is actually circulating on the campus. Mumps is spread through coughs, sneezes or direct contact with an infected person’s saliva.
