RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ Nearly three weeks after the 2015 legislative session started, leaders in the Virginia House of Delegates are still trying to figure out what to do with a lawmaker who is spending nights in jail after a sex scandal involving a teenager. State House leaders in both parties said Friday that they continue to evaluate what, if any, discipline they would try and mete out to Del. Joseph D. Morrissey. The 57-year-old former Democrat announced his resignation last month after he was sentenced to six months in jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. But he ran as an independent and won his seat back earlier this month in a special election to the dismay of legislative leaders. They have previously indicated that Morrissey could be censured or expelled.
