Vinton Police say officers responded to a robbery Monday at the CVS on Hardy Road. Authorities say a suspect went to the pharmacy and demanded an undisclosed amount of narcotic medication. The suspect claimed to have a weapon but did not show it. He took off on foot before police arrived. The suspect is described as a white man, 30-35 years old, 5’10-6′ tall, 225-250 lbs., and a brown beard.
