From the Virginia Lottery: The excitement generated by that $1.3 billion estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is expected to lead to record sales in Virginia. If one ticket matches all six numbers in Wednesday’s drawing, the winner will have a choice: either take the full $1.3 billion jackpot in 30 annual payments, or choose a one-time cash option of approximately $806 million before taxes. If multiple tickets match all six numbers, the jackpot will be divided among them equally.

A total of 489,158 Powerball tickets bought in Virginia won prizes in Saturday’s drawing, including one ticket that’s now worth $1 million. The ticket that won $1 million in last night’s drawing was bought at:
