FROM ROANOKE CITY POLICE: On January 27, 2014 at 10:17 p.m. the Roanoke Police Department responded to the Dominos Pizza in the 2300 block of Peters Creek Road NW to investigate a report of a delivery driver who had been physically assaulted and robbed. After further investigation officers discovered the robbery had taken place in the 300 block of Beech Street NW. The driver had attempted to deliver food to a residence in that area. The suspect lured the driver to the 300 block of Beech. The driver advised he was robbed at gunpoint and physically assaulted by three suspects. The victim stated the suspects left in a silver Hyundai. The suspect descriptions were as follows:
Suspect #1: Approximately 6’1″ to 6’2″ in height. Medium build. The suspect wore a dark jacket, long athletic style pants, and a black winter style hat. The suspect may be in his 20s in age.
Suspect #2: Approximately 5’10” in height. Medium build. This suspect also wore dark clothing.
Suspect #3: Approximately 5’10” in height. Medium build. This suspect also wore dark clothing.
The victim was transported to Lewis Gale Hospital for treatment. The injuries at the time were described in the officer’s report as minor. Anyone with information on this crime can call the Roanoke Valley Crime
