UPDATED 3:30 PM April 13: Roanoke County Police say Thiers’ body was found this morning in the Bronx borough of New York City. Police there indicate there were no signs of foul play, and it appears Thiers took his own life.

Police are asking for the public’s help with locating a Roanoke County man who’s not been seen by his family since yesterday (4/11) morning. 36-year-old Jeremie Lynn Thiers was last seen leaving his Roanoke County home around 10:00 a.m. He was reported missing last night by his wife who contacted police after Thiers failed to return home.
Police and family members are concerned for Thiers safety. Thiers is a paraplegic and his family says he’s made remarks about suicide. He may also be armed with a handgun.
Thiers is a white male. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark gray zippered jacket, a light colored button-down shirt, and beige khaki-style pants. Thiers is driving a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that has a wheelchair lift on the back of the vehicle.
