State health officials are investigating yesterday’s death of a seven-year-old Pittsylvania County boy, one that may be the result of the flu. The parents of Kevin Baynes, Junior of Hurt tell the Danville Register and Bee Kevin died one day after being diagnosed with the flu and strep throat. Kevin was a first-grader at Mount Airy Elementary School.
