According to the latest data released by the Virginia Department of Health there are 380 new coronavirus cases statewide bringing the overall case count to 54,886. The VDH is reporting there have been 6 new coronavirus related deaths over the latest 24 hour reporting period, bringing the total number of dead in Virginia to 1,552. There are no new cases or deaths being reported in the Roanoke Valley.
