A company preparing to start up operations in Franklin County began taking applications today. Solution Matrix, Inc. intends to hire 25 to 30 new workers when it begins operations at its new facility in the Franklin County Commerce Center this September. Solution Matrix, Inc. has announced that they will begin taking applications at the Franklin Center in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Applications will be taken starting Monday, July 25, 2011 through Friday, August 5, 2011. The company expects to hire 25 to 30 new employees for its initial start-up at its new facility in the Franklin County Commerce Center. Positions available include: Equipment Maintenance/Sewing Line Setup, Sewing Machine Operator, General Factory Worker, Custodian, and Groundskeeper. Tentative start date will be September 2011.
Solution Matrix, Inc., a leader in cold-therapy products for the health care industry, announced in December that it would relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations from Pennsylvania to Franklin County. Privately-held Solution Matrix designs, manufactures and sells cold-therapy products used by hospitals, physical therapists and other health care providers post-surgery for joint replacement or rehabilitation from acute sports and other injuries. The company is constructing a new 25,000-square-foot facility on a 4.27 acre site within the Franklin County Commerce Center along U.S. Highway 220 south of Rocky Mount.
