“Its about time,” was a familiar comment this morning as local residents waited for a ribbon cutting for the new Market on Melrose, the first full-service grocery store in northwest Roanoke in decades. The 15,000 square foot Market on Melrose is located on the Goodwill Industries campus and is part of the Melrose Plaza redevelopment that will soon include a wellness center and a bank.
