As construction continues on the Carilion Crystal Spring Tower, a tour was offered today to media members. The expansion is really an upgrade as the bed count overall doesn’t increase. But ER Senior Director Wrenn Brendel tells us she gets to keep the former ER area as well as the new one at the tower – so it is an expansion for the E-R.
