Henry County investigators are looking for 37-year-old Arthur Gene McClard for questioning in a Ridgeway woman’s death. Authorities say McClard was last seen in southeast Roanoke Monday wearing a light blue shirt, blue or black sweatpants and white tennis shoes. Investigators say the photo of McClard is a recent one, but at the moment, he has no facial hair, and his head is shaved. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of Joyce Daily Mitchell, 74 year old female, that occurred at 270 King Air Avenue in Ridgeway, VA. We are seeking an individual named Arthur Gene McClard for questioning in reference to this case. McClard is a 37 year old male and was last seen in the Southeast neighborhood of Roanoke VA on foot on Monday, September 3, 2012. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, blue or black sweatpants and white tennis shoes. The attached picture is recent but McClard now has no facial hair and his head is shaved. If you see this individual please call the local police and identify his location immediately. We have warrants for larceny of a motor vehicle at this time for Arthur Gene McClard, and we need to question him in reference to this case.
