Juneteenth could be become a permanent holiday fixture

Governor Northam declared last Friday – June 19th or “Juneteenth” a state holiday for the first time. Roanoke City employees had off as well and it could become a permanent recognition next year, as WFIR’s Gene Marrano reports:
