Congressman Bob Goodlatte begins a new campaign today, one to win chairmanship of the House Judiciary Committee. House Republican party leaders will decide on that and other committee assignments in coming months, and Goodlatte’s name has been widely mentioned around Washington as the next likely committee chairman.
