Skiers will be able to hit the slopes in Nelson County this weekend when Wintergreen Resort opens its winter season. They made some snow earlier this month when temperatures fell below freezing, and they plan to make even more starting Saturday night. But Wintergreen says several slopes are ready to open Saturday, along with the tubing park and ice skating rink. The story from WFIR’s Jim Kent.
