Starting Thursday, it’s illegal to feed deer in Virginia. The ban runs from September 1st through the first week in January. The ban coincides with hunting season. Knox says feeding deer during that time could create conflicts with hunters. Deer baiting in Virginia is illegal. WFIR’s Timothy Martin reports.
