Bedford County swift water rescue crews were called out this morning to rescue a man who tried to drive through high water crossing Otterville Road northeast of Bedford. Video from the scene shows a wide swath of water at least knee-high. It serves as another reminder that attempting to drive through high water often ends with this result — or worse.
