It’s been almost a week since Virginia Tech declared a campus alert and lockdown, and the university says it’s already reviewing its response. News/Talk 960’s Evan Jones has the story.

The report of a man with a gun on campus turned got all of  Virginia Tech’s emergency systems going,  putting all their planning and procedures to the test in a real-time setting — no drill. University Spokesman Mark Owczarski says Tech holds many drills a year — they actually conducted the lastest one the day before the lockdown. But last Thursday’s events offer an unusual opportunity to measure what they plan. But Owcazrski says any lessons learned notwithstanding,  they’d still prefer not have any incident that leads to a lockdown
