ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (AP) _ State police are investigating a non-fatal shooting involving an off-duty Henry County sheriff’s deputy. The shooting occurred early Sunday in Franklin County. 27-year-old Joshua Dean Nash of Martinsville is charged with shooting in an occupied dwelling, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. A 60-year-old man who Nash allegedly shot is being treated in Roanoke Memorial Hospital for injuries described as non-life threatening. Nash is being held at the Franklin County Jail without bond.
