State police say a tractor-trailer loaded with 2,500 turkeys collided with a pickup truck on I-81 in Botetourt County before five o’clock this morning. The wreck has closed the right northbound lane near mile marker 154. Police and VDOT say it could take several hours to remove the turkeys and clear the wreckage.
