Former Speaker of the House of Delegates Todd Gilbert has resigned from his position as US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia after a little more than a month on the job. Robert Tracci will serve as the acting United States attorney for the Western District of Virginia. A reason for Gilbert’s resignation has not been made public.
