A national Tea Party Express bus tour stopped in Roanoke today, part of a two week cross-country run. WFIR’s Evan Jones has more.

It started about two weeks ago in California and wraps up next Monday in Tampa Florida, where the Tea Party and CNN and combining forces for a Republican presidential debate. Speakers at the noontime rally at the Roanoke Civic Center expressed frequent displeasure with both political parties in Washington, and they promised that the political gains the Tea Party made last November will only increase in the next national election a year from November.
