As part of the ongoing work at the Valley View Interchange project on Interstate 581, lane closures and slow rolls will be in place this week, weather permitting, as the beams for the pedestrian bridge are erected as the pedestrian bridge construction begins. On Monday, June 8, I-581 southbound will have a left lane closure in place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning with intermittent 15-minute long slow rolls. On Tuesday, June 9, I-581 southbound will be detoured onto exit 3W, Hershberger Road to take Valley View Boulevard back to I-581 southbound. The Hershberger Road eastbound on ramp to I-581 southbound will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. I-581 northbound will have a left lane closure from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. On Wednesday, June 10, I-581 northbound will be detoured onto exit 3C for Valley View Boulevard to Hershberger West to get back onto I-581 northbound from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. I-581 southbound will have a left lane closure from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. On Thursday, June 11, Interstate 581 northbound and southbound will have double left lane closures in place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning with intermittent 15-minute long slow rolls.
