Salem-based Congressman Morgan Griffith has long spoken about what he calls the Obama administration’s “War on Coal.” And he says newly proposed E-P-A regulations to reduce coal-fired power plant carbon emissions 30 percent – in the next 15 years – are at least ten years ahead of clean-coal technology. Griffith says in the meantime if the regulations are adopted – bypassing Congressional approval – it will drive up utility bills. WFIR’s Gene Marrano spoke with Griffith about the new regulations:
