Sabrina’s Place is the supervised visitation and child exchange center in downtown Roanoke. The agency had faced closure after losing federal grand funds unless it could raise $146,000 dollars by the end of this year. Total Action for Progress President Annette Lewis says the community response recognizes the need for Sabrina’s Place to continue – a “Crowdrise” funding campaign has also helped.
