FROM ROANOKE CITY POLICE: On January 27, 2014 at 10:02 p.m. the Roanoke Police Department responded to the Turbo Food Mart in the 4100 block of Plantation Road NE to investigate a report of a robbery. The clerk on duty at the store told officers the suspect walked into the store, displayed a knife, and robbed the store of an undisclosed about of money. The clerk advised the suspect ran away on foot. The clerk reported losing sight of the suspect as the suspect ran east on Plantation Road. The suspect wore a gray toboggan, sunglasses, and a white cloth that concealed the suspect’s face. The suspect also wore a dark jacket, dark pants, and tan colored boots.
