The Roanoke Prevention Alliance announced a $625,000 dollar federal grant this morning that will be spread out over five years – used to sustain programs that aim to reduce youth substance abuse in Roanoke City. Blue Ridge Behavorial Health Care will administer the “Drug Free Community Support Program Grant.” The Roanoke Prevention Alliance includes law enforcement agencies, youth support groups and mental health non-profits.
