The “suspicious container” found near the Roanoke County administration building that shut down some adjacent streets for a while this afternoon turned about to be a box full of clothes, that according to assistant Chief of Police Chuck Mason. A bomb-sniffing dog gave the all clear before they opened the package. Someone called police to say they think the box may have fallen off the back of their pickup truck. Traffic was reopened on Electric Road just after 4:00 pm.
