CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) _ Interim University of Virginia President Carl Zeithami says he is suspending that role pending next week’s Board of Visitors’ meeting on the status of ousted President Teresa Sullivan.  Zeithami says in a statement released Friday that he’s grateful for the trust that the board expressed in him during “this extraordinarily difficult time.” But he says there’s an enormous groundswell of support for Sullivan’s reinstatement and trust can’t be restored in the university community until her status is resolved. The board announced Thursday that it will consider reinstating Sullivan at a meeting Tuesday.  Zeithaml was set to take over when Sullivan departed Aug. 15.
