The date and venue is set for “An Evening with George Takei (Takay) – On Diversity and Inclusion” – its May 4th at Jefferson Center. Starting on March 15th two tickets per person can be reserved by phone only at 345-2560. Last year the former Star Trek actor criticized Roanoke Mayor David Bower’s remarks about the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War Two that were included in the mayor’s memo on Syrian refugees.
