Update: 4:00 p.m. – Authorities say both teens have been located and are being returned to their families.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Benjamin Weir and 15-year-old Bailey Turner were in a relationship and may have left the area together. Turner’s personal belongings are missing, but deputies found no evidence of a struggle or foul play at her home. The two may be traveling in a burgundy 1996 Toyota Camry with Virginia National Guard License plates with the number 24198 on them.
