A new home for Carilion Children’s Pediatric in Rocky Mount, which held a ribbon cutting today and officially opens its doors on Monday. Besides general pediatric care, pediatric specialties will rotate through the new clinic location, which offers more access to care for children in Franklin County. It will also mean that fewer families will have to travel to Carilion Children’s Tanglewood, also relieving pressure on that facility in Roanoke County.
