With the year almost complete, annual home sales in the Roanoke Valley appear certain to reach the best numbers in years, both in number sold and average home price. Realtors say a relative shortage in new home construction means fewer homes available, and that is contributing to the rise in prices. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story:
