A special pet-friendly adoption event is scheduled for Rocky Mount tomorrow. Pet-friendly cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from the Franklin County Humane Society shelter will be available for adoption. More on the story from WFIR’s Bob Clark.

It will be held from Noon until 3:00 pm Saturday at Tractor Supply between Boones Mill and Rocky Mount. It is across from Dairy Queen at the Plateau Plaza stoplight along US 220. The event will also feature live music and an opportunity to win a Sony Reader or a Nook.
