A new Franklin County manufacturer is celebrating its grand opening today, offering the promise of another 60 jobs over the next three years. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story.

Solution Matrix moved everything from western Pennsylvania to the Rocky Mount area — headquarters, manufacturing, the works. Franklin County economic development officials say more than 700 people applied for the first 20 available jobs. The company says it will increase the workforce to 80 or more by 2014.
Solution Matrix is the second medical products company to locate in the Franklin County Commerce Center, and the county hopes this leads still more to follow suit.
