ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (AP) _ A Franklin County official says four grain silos and a grain tower are all that remain standing following a fire at a mill in Rocky Mount. Multiple media outlets report that the fire broke out early Sunday morning at Exchange Milling Co. No injuries were reported. Franklin County director of public safety Daryl Hatcher told The Roanoke Times that the fire leveled the property’s milling portion. Authorities haven’t determined how much damage was sustained by commodities stored in the silos. Hatcher says authorities haven’t determined the cause of the fire or the total cost of damage.
