RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ A Roanoke apparel maker plans to open a manufacturing facility in Grayson County, creating 100 jobs. Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Monday that Oak Hall Cap & Gown will invest more than $1 million in the expansion. The company plans to renovate existing facility in Independence. Oak Hall Cap & Gown produces academic, judicial and religious apparel. McAuliffe says in a news release that the Independence facility will be the company’s fourth operation in Virginia. Oak Hall Cap & Gown will receive $385,000 from the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission for the project.
