It’s been exactly one year since a young Franklin County mother was last seen alive. Heather Hodges was 22 years old, last seen at her Rocky Mount area home. Her boyfriend reported her missing two days later. Investigators while leads are coming in more slowly now, they do indeed still come in. The latest from WFIR’s Evan Jones.
Investigators ask anyone who might have any information on the case to call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at (540) 483-3000.

April 9th marks the 1 year anniversary of the last date Heather Hodges was seen by family members. The Office of the Sheriff is continuing this investigation as a criminal matter relating to a violent event and continues to have a person of interest. We would like to take this anniversary date as a time to remind the public that this mother is still missing. This disappearance remains an active investigation and leads are still being followed. Due to the lengthy investigation leads from the public have slowed but not stopped. We are asking anyone with possible information related to this missing mother to contact the Office of the Sheriff at 540.483.3000, please do not consider any piece of information too small or insignificant.
Heather Hodges was last seen at her residence on Shady Lane in Rocky Mount, Va. on April 9th by her sister Crystal Hodges and her boyfriend Paul “Scooter” Jordan, Jr. Heather was reported missing by Paul “Scooter” Jordan, Jr. on April 11th, 2012.
