President Barack Obama will hold a “small grassroots” event at Roanoke’s historic Fire Station No. 1 on Friday night around 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday — one per person on a first come, first served basis.
There’s no word yet on how many will be given out to the public. Tickets will be distributed at these locations:
- Fire Station No. 1 on Church Avenue
- The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26 on Peters Creek Road
- The Obama Blacksburg campaign office on North Main Street
