UPDATE: WSLS announced late this afternoon that is has agreed on a new retransmission contract with Cox Cable. That means WSLS will remain on the local Cox Cable lineup.

The deadline nears for WSLS-TV and Cox Cable. If their companies cannot agree on retransmission fees by midnight, Channel 10 will be dropped from the Cox lineup. As WFIR’s Evan Jones reports, such disputes are common across the country, although most are resolved without any service disruptions.
