Coming soon to the big screen at Valley View Grande – a one minute video created by VDOT that helps explain the “diverging diamond” interchange opening at the Valley View Mall exit on I-581 next spring. VDOT employees in Richmond portray Luke and Princess Leia driving through a diverging diamond interchange – which requires motorists to briefly drive on the left or opposite side of the road. Spokesman Jason Bond helped write the script for the Star Wars-themed trailer that movie goers will see for the next 4 months:
