The commission that will draw new legislative boundaries in Virginia is in its final weeks of work, preparing to submit its report April 1st. Governor McDonnell appointed the redistricting commission this year to redraw legislative and congressional lines to match population shifts as recorded in the 2010 census. The redistricting commission holds a public hearing at Virginia Western Community College March 14th at 7:00 pm. Click here for the commission’s Facebook page.
