UPDATE: The suspect in the Magic City Ford tire burglary, Shawn Braxton, was arrested a little after 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon following a short foot pursuit that ended in the 3500 block of Harvest Lane NW.
On the morning of June 17, Roanoke Police were called to Magic City Ford on Williamson Road to investigate a report of a burglary. Officer found an exterior door with damage and evidence of a burglary. Magic City did an inventory and found that multiple tires were missing. Video surveillance showed a suspect and a vehicle. After further investigation, detectives obtained warrants on 27-year-old Shawn D’uval Braxton for burglary, grand larceny and obtaining money by false pretenses.
