Anderson, Desimone & Green, P.C. now accepts Bitcoin, becoming the first law firm in Southwest Virginia to receive the digital currency as payment for services. Bitcoin uses an open-source, peer-to-peer technology that allows the digital currency to operate with no central authority or banks involved.
Firm President Christopher Desimone said, “Accepting bitcoin is absolutely client focused. By accepting bitcoin as payment, we allow for lower transaction costs and as a result, those savings will be reflected in lower pricing overall for our estate planning and elder law services.”
